The Program
Just like the scouts, this is a life long commitment. It is not just a “right” of passage.
It is an oath of existence, a life-long pledge.
On-line talk sessions
...with various experts, take place – with detailed (non academic, but rather personal) assessments following, so as to test comprehension of the subject matter
We are the Right Men (WATRM) program offers young men up to the age of 25 years an opportunity to find themselves and be affirmed as #TheRightMen. It prepares them to be confident and fit to be tomorrow leaders, and head of their various communities as well as their own households.
The following are the steps the program follows:
Business coaching and Exposure
This is the phase where participants are exposed to the world of business and guiding them to becoming tomorrow’s independent young people who can think on their feet and create solutions for their different situations without waiting on government and others to provide solutions.
Venturing Into business
The participants have an option to venture into a business that GTE has formulated. This will give them the practical exposure to business environment. The business chosen may differ from one year to the other and will be shared at the beginning of each year
Personal Mastery
Each participant has to undertake Multiple Intelligence Assessment. This is an assessment through which one identifies their strength so as to build on them as they choose career paths or the type of opportunities (career & business) may be suitable for them.
Strength Coaching
This is an on-line coaching session, through which participants are guided to reason from a position of strength and respect. Knowing one’s strength and respecting that others are different from them teaches one to be sensitive towards others. By understanding the principle that we are all different yet equally important, would most likely breed young people who are mindful and respectful of our differences
Career Choices
Gone are the days where money was the only factor that informed career choices. With today’s diverse life desires, many other factors now come to play. To ensure that young men make right career choices, we are The RIGHT Men aims to champion opportunities through which practical career guidance is had from early age.

The boys are also introduced into various businesses including being patrons of selling various products ranging from sanitary pads, to character building books, as well as various services including coaching and mentoring.
These will among others presents business opportunities, through which they can generate some revenue, while at the same time understanding some of the phases women undergo and being sensitive to their experiences.
Through its partnership with Millennium Support Services (#MSSRewards), GTE is always on a look out for various opportunities to address the high levels of unemployment faced by our youth and there are some opportunities which are reserved predominantly for boy children.
All this is so done, to make sure no child (boy or girl) is unfairly left behind as we strive to strike a balance in sharing opportunities as well as economic inclusions
